This test uses a simple finger-prick blood sample and a urine sample, so the patient can carry out this test in clinic, alternatively the patient can do so in the comfort of their own home.
The process is quick, easy and efficient, simply take the samples, register the test and return it to the London Medical Laboratory using the Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked envelope included in the box.*
Results:
A report will be received via email with the results of the test. All of the test results are reviewed by London Medical Laboratory in-house GPs, who will highlight anything that may need further investigation or follow up with a doctor.**
**It is important to note that blood tests alone are not a substitute for seeing a doctor, particularly if the patient has any symptoms. The patient should not make a diagnosis or start any treatment without a consultation with a doctor or suitably trained healthcare professional.
