    Mirena® 20 micrograms/24 hours intrauterine delivery system is indicated for contraception.

    Idiopathic menorrhagia. Mirena may be particularly useful in women with idiopathic menorrhagia requiring (reversible) contraception.

    Protection from endometrial hyperplasia during oestrogen replacement therapy.

    The HCP inserting or removing the device should be fully trained in the technique and should provide full counselling to the patient.
