Novuma

Novuma is an injectable biostimulating gel developed using advanced BioSphere technology. It contains highly purified Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres at a high concentration (55–60% w/w), suspended in a Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) gel carrier. The microspheres are engineered to be perfectly smooth and round, allowing for effective collagen stimulation while minimising inflammatory response. 

Novuma has been CE marked since 2020 and achieved EU MDR certification in 2025, confirming compliance with European medical device regulatory standards. 

Novuma is designed to support skin rejuvenation and target visible signs of ageing including wrinkles and loss of firmness. It is particularly suitable for treating moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, including the face oval, cheeks, marionette lines and nasolabial folds, helping to restore facial contours while enhancing skin density and smoothness. 

Immediately following injection, Novuma provides a filling and lifting effect, delivering visible smoothing and plumping of the treated area. The CaHA microspheres act as a scaffold within the tissue, activating fibroblasts and stimulating the natural production of new collagen. As the microspheres gradually degrade and are absorbed into the body, a newly formed collagen network remains, helping to restore skin density, firmness and structure. This regenerative process supports long-lasting results of up to 18 months, depending on the treatment area and individual patient factors.
